Hope42Day interviews authors, musicians, inspirationalists and "Hope Ambassadors" from across the globe. Join Hope42Day on Tuesday, September 8 at 12noon CST as Host Lynn Kindler interviews artist, inspirationalist, writer, mom and more! Liz Kitchens. Liz Kitchens is the artist and founder of extraordinaire of a "little art based company" called Idealizms (www.idealizms.com). Liz's art is exhibited in galleries and homes across the United States. Her work has been adopted as the national symbol for groups such as ACCORN (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) and the Young Democrats of America. It has also been used by the League of Women's Voters to encourage voter participation and registration. She is the commission art minister in the United Church of Crist and founded the Jeremiah Project in 2003, an after-school pottery, computer and performing arts program targeted to help at-risk middle school-aged students. Many artists refer to themselves as "fine artists". Liz prefers to call herself a "fun artist". Join us for what I'm sure will be a lively and idea-liz-tic half an hour.
