Beauty 4 Ashes Advocacy for HIV and AIDS Survivors

Based on the situation analysis, Beauty 4 Ashes CEO Daphne Cooper identified the following main areas of advocacy where all communities should focus its efforts: 1. Contribute to the scale up of HIV services to prevent mother-to-child transmission. 2. Contribute to the improvement of the medical care and management system 3. Contribute to the extension of the applying ethnical practices in all health facilities and official community structures. 4. Support the implementation of AIDS programs among youth and adolescents. 5. Support the increased numbers of volunteers needed in the national AIDS response. 6. Help reduce stigma and discrimination among people living with HIV. 7. Help mobilize financial resources to support the national AIDS response Ultimately, Beauty for Ashes, aka Beauty 4 Ashes, was created and produced to address medical concerns and stigmas we are tired of.
