In walks Kovan Baldwin.      “Call Me.” A summons, an invitation; and the lead single off of the R&B singer/songwriter’s third album entitled Statement, set for release in 2011.     The name of the single in itself, suggests that you vocally express your accord for this jubilant sound. But in packing more definition to this dose of candid art, the song truly breathes a motive of the singers intent on imparting a windstorm of poetic prose over the music industries         lack-luster canvas.    With a lethal penmanship for perfectly characterizing the elements of life, love and lore onto our auditory emporium, this talented vocalist is challenging urban music’s subpar existence, by dropping the elements of lust, and promiscuity from his sound, and engaging us with his melodic dewdrops of irrecoverable substance.    Releasing his first album entitled, About Time, in 2007, followed by a critically acclaimed Sophomore LP entitled Gifted, in 2009, not only does Kovan’s talent emit a pleasuring light to his audience, his continued efforts of seeking success, read like an arduous climb    between a man and his mountain. Kovanis prepared to not only defeat the game, but redefine its coordinates with his own composition of characterizing vocal art.   www.reverbnation.com/kovanofficial    www.facebook.com/kovan.baldwin 00:17:00MsMyraMonoKovan,Balwin,Music,Entertainment,RandBWhen a melody elopes with vocal ingenuity, the results can be explosive. ….yet, no eruption can perfectly implore the eardrums to weep ash, unless you’re wBen Sent and Rosechild Recordshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/hhninterviews/2011/11/06/ben-sent-and-rosechild-recordsEntertainmenthttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/hhninterviews/2011/11/06/ben-sent-and-rosechild-records/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/hhninterviews/2011/11/06/ben-sent-and-rosechild-recordsSun, 06 Nov 2011 23:00:00 GMTBen Sent and Rosechild RecordsWayne Edmonds Jr. (Ben Sent) was born in Baltimore Maryland.  As a young child his love for music helped him realize his gift as a writer.  Growing up in the Gilmore Projects (Westside Baltimore), he often looked to hip-hop as an outlet from all of the drama that surrounded his world.  In school, he was a bright child, but as he grew older his interest turned more toward the streets and the drug game.  At the age of 15, a dropout from the 10th grade, he sold and used drugs, but his using became more consistent than making money.  When he turned 18, he lost his birth mother to a heart attack and after being asked to leave the house by his father, he became hateful and addiction to drugs soon followed.  Between the ages of 19 and 23, after leaving his father’s house, the streets became his new home and family. His addiction to drugs became his outlet.  Though his problems with drugs increased, his love for hip-hop had a hold on his heart. Entering local rap sessions with cats around town, he would always represent and in all cases walk away victorious, even with the drug use. The works span relationships with parents and grandparents who we have loved and cherished to those lost in the military--even those yet born.  -Review by Dr. Renay Scales of www.amazon.com  This book offers the healing that so many are looking for.
