The Congenital Heart Walk (CHW) is a national fundraising event series benefitting the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA) and The Children’s Heart Foundation (CHF). Members of the congenital heart disease (CHD) community walk to honor and remember the millions who have been impacted by CHD. The CHW shows the nation how a team of inspired individuals can join together to make a difference. Funds raised will support the missions of both national nonprofit organizations who are uniting to fight CHD! Since 2010, CHW has raised more than $10 million in total.
Motivated by the needs of our CHD children, the goal of The Children's Heart Foundation is to bring health, hope and happiness to children impacted by congenital heart defects, the number one birth defect in the United States. The Children's Heart Foundation accomplishes this goal by funding the most promising research to advance the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of congenital heart defects.
The mission of the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA) is to improve and extend the lives of the millions born with heart defects through education, advocacy, and the promotion of research.
