Until last year, Eboney felt that having remained positive, making positive life/career decisions, and defying the statistics of someone with her life circumstances, had been her greatest achievement . Then within days of her 25th birthday, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
 

Eboney entered foster care when she was only 3 years old, along with one of her two brothers, after their mother was killed by her boyfriend with them in the home.  It was when placed with their paternal grandmother that she became of one of "HEART's and Ms. E's "babies".

In January of this year,  H.E.A.R.T., thanks to donors, was able to assist Eboney in taking a trip to the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 

Throughout this year she has faced and overcome many challenges and setbacks, but as you listen to what she has to say about living this gift of life your heart will be touched and inspired to live and give differently!
