On the Monday, July 25th, 2011 brodcast at 8PM Eastern/5PM Pacific, we'll discuss the upcoming HealthCamp Florida to be held on July 30th, 2011 in Tampa, Florida.

The theme of this year’s HealthCamp Florida is “The remarkable innovations that are transforming healthcare,” and will have a primary focus on technology, process, and policy (such as the e-patient movement). We expect to have a day filled with interesting people, innovative topics and rich content.

HealthCamp is user-organized for a one day event that brings together all healthcare stakeholders in a collaborative, informal exchange of ideas to find ways to improve healthcare.

It is also a national movement led by volunteers focused on putting social media, open source and the best of new technologies, the Internet, Mobile Web and process innovation to work for better health care and health technology.

HealthCamp brings consumers, health providers, health industry experts and technology professionals together for a one day event to exchange ideas informally, locally, openly. Participants themselves provide the content, with break-out sessions they develop themselves and plug into a schedule grid on the day of the event. Anyone can present and host a session in nearly any format.
