This month Scott Taylor, author of "Souls in The Sea: Dolphins Whales and Human Destiny" ( joins hosts Healer, Gabriela Castillo ( and Certified Equine Specialist from EAGALA & Executive Director and Co-Founder - Spring Reins of Hope, Christianna Capra ( ) Scott Taylor is, by profession, a Legendarian. He has followed the liquid trail of the dolphins for over twenty years, passionately exploring the story of our long relationship with the people of the sea. Along the way, he became involved in an interspecies communication experiment that was privately funded (by himself and a few patrons). The experimental system that was developed to explore the theoretical model that the team was working with was discovered to have several wonderful qualities for human listeners. He founded, and continues as the Executive Director of, the Cetacean Studies Institute, which has accumulated a substantial archive, offers educational programs, and provides consulting services to a wide variety of people: artists, scientists, film makers, authors, students, therapists, educators, swim facility owners, legislators, activists and mystics. "Souls in the Sea: Dolphins, Whales and Human Destiny" is his first book, in which the dolphin tale is brought up to date, and its many threads are related as never before. It is a work of "meta-history" in which a multitude of views and "medicine wheels" of information are combined for the first time. Comprehensive, poetic, scientific, spiritual, and humorous, it is a major contribution to the field of dolphin--and human--studies. Seeing the need for a non-profit educational corporation, he founded The Dolphin Embassy with his partner, Amanda Hain. The Embassy tours the world, sharing the meta-tale of the dolphin-human connection.
