Everywhere we turn today, we are confronted with the word "cancer" and how it is affecting the lives of millions of Americans.  No one, directly or indirectly, seems to be excluded from this deadly predator that is weaving uninvited into home after home.  If you have ever had cancer, been a care giver, family member, friend, encourager to someone with cancer, this month of programs are about you.  No matter the results, emotions, handling and expectations are as different as night and day.

During October, we want to celebrate life and the individuals that have encountered this invader called cancer.   The theme for the month is call, “Cancer – A Celebration of Life”.   No matter the outcome from this deadly disease, there is still a reason for celebration of that life that was created by God.

Join me along with a month long list of guest who will share their trials, triumphs, victories and defeats. We will also talk to a foundation that provides financial assistance to uninsured and underinsured individuals who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and are unable to pay for life-saving treatments and/or surgery.

I realize October is designated as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  But we will be covering many different areas of cancer.  Also we will look at unusual cancers that have plagued both men and women.

Share your story, call with your comments and celebrate the lives of those around you that have had cancer.  If you have a story or know of some who has one that will encourage our audience, send me an email.

“Cancer – A Celebration of Life” on Blog Talk Radio, every Tuesday night in October @ 8:00pm.
