Princella and MacArthur Davis of Bradley County, Arkansas

This is one of those special shows involving Family and Roots. My cousin Princella and MacArthur Davis will be my guest today. They are from Bradley County, Arkansas, home of my folk’s roots. They published a 370 pages book entitled “Afro-Americans Bradley County Arkansas 1800-1930 in 2008. It’s latterly a picture by picture walk trough of family and others from that county’s era. They are set to release the follow-up (Volume 2, 1800-1940) soon.

Plus we are going to talk about their upcoming Mt Olive, Arkansas Homecoming on July 24 thru 26. It’s going to be real you ‘all. So hang with us on the Corner.

And, the Oakland CA based Courageous Women Association’s Founder & Executive Director Toshonna Ross (pictured in the red tee shirt) will be here. She will tell us about her organization current and future plans.
