Tune een fa yeddi "Resolutions, Restoration, Reparations: 2018 State of the Gullah/Geechee Nation!"  This is the 18th Anniversay of the Gullah/Geechee Nation and the enstoolment of Queen Quet as Chieftess and Head Pun de Bodee of de Gullah/Geechee Nation.  Queen Quet ( will discuss not only the recent apology for slavery from the City of Charleston, SC, but also other proclamations, restoration, restitution, and reparations.  

Queen Quet is the founder of the Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coalition ( which was the first organization in the world to start a movement to protect the rights of Gullah/Geechees.  They have made many national and international strides on this front since the Coalition begin in 1996.   The global stage became aware of their work in 1999.  In 1999, the voting began for Queen Quet to become the elected leader for Gullah/Geechees worldwide.  Each year, she provides a "State of the Gullah/Geechee Nation" radio address on "Gullah/Geechee Riddim Radio" so that everyone will know of the progress and continued battles under way.
