My special guest today, Kris Wittenberg, has designed her own playground. She’s a veteran entrepreneur, owner of two thriving businesses, mother to two fantastic young children and a devoted wife. For Kris, family and business are deeply interwoven: August, her husband, is her partner in business as well as life. Together, from their Colorado office—nestled in a small town 6,000 feet above sea level, against the backdrop of the majestic Rocky Mountains they have a bird’s eye view of how we all can spread the good and make a difference. It was an experience with poor customer service one day that had Kris asking herself: “Why can’t people just be good to people? It’s so simple!” But instead of just getting annoyed, she did something to make a difference. In 2009, she founded Be good to people.®—a company that started a nation-wide movement that celebrates Good-doers™, backed by a range of Be good to people.® products available online and at select retail locations across America. This venture is powered by Kris’s other company, SayNoMore! Promotions, a well-established resource for professionally crafted promotional products
