An inspirational conversation with Barry Heidt about our inter-dependence living on Mother Earth, our inter-connectedness with all life on what Buckminister Fuller called Spaceship Earth.  Barry will explore the essential mindfulness of systems thinking, the integration of Planet-People-Prosperity to solving problems, and what each of these means in our daily lives.  He has been influenced by Chief Seattle's words, "Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are connected."  He suggests we reverse this perspective and explore the idea of  "whatever we do to ourselves, we do to the web" meaning that healing Mother Earth in the context of a Planet-People-Prosperity approach starts with healing ourselves.

Barry is a videographer, filmmaker and sustainability advocate with thirty years of experience, much of it in TV, growing and communicating the categories of International Eco-tourism, sustainable travel, and most recently, on special collections - Wisdom Keepers, Wisdom from the Origins, Oil over Water in Ecuador, and One Water. He is co-founder of Sustainability Action Media (SAM), a coalition of, Sustainable Today, and SustainableTV.

He lives on the Oregon Coast and is active in his community acting on behalf of the Rights of Mother Earth.
