Elisabet Sahtouris, PhD, is an internationally known evolution biologist, futurist, author and speaker living in Spain.  She will speak about how important crisis is as a driver of evolution, offering us the very opportunities that we need to evolve from hostile competion to peaceful cooperation, from a wildly exploitative consumer lifestyle to an ecological balanced way of life, from a win/lose economy to a win/win economy, and so on to create a clean, green, fair and thriving future.  This conversation will show what we can learn from Nature's amazing living economies, from 100% recycling to free money, as we design and implement our own future!

Elisabet Sahtouris PhD (www.sahtouris.com) has a post-doctorate degree from the American Museum of Natural History.  She has taught at MIT and the University of Massachusetts, and has contributed to the NOVA-Horizon TV series.  Author of EarthDance: Living Systems in Evolution; A Walk Through Time: From Stardust to Us; and Biology Revisioned with Willis Harman.
