Latest Debt Ceiling Deal simply removes the "ceiling" as spending will continue to out pace income through January 2025. Pat yourself on the back if you voted for this measure! 
Simple business equation used to be a function of responsibility: Income minus Expenses equals Profit or Loss.  If you spend more than you take in for income, you run a loss & some point close your business doors but not the US Govt, they just move "The Debt Ceiling" (or simply remove it)
