Pope Francis and Grand Imam Ahmad al-Tayeb of Cairo's Al Azhar University, Sunni Islam's foremost scholarly auhority, signed on February 4, 2019, "A Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together."  This declaration calls for global religious freedom, a principle that supposedly reflects all true religious belief, and recently a Catholic committee formed to elaborate further on the document.  Yet critics worry that the document, along with much of Francis' papacy, betrays a woeful ignorance of the dangers Islamic doctrines can pose for non-Muslims and human rights.  Catholic intellectual John Zmirak, Senior Editor of The Stream, and author of numerous books, including the Politically Incorrect Guide to Catholicism, will join show host Andrew E. Harrod to discuss these matters.
