During the beginning of the 2020 COVID Pandemic, I attended the memorial service for my mom's edlest brother, Uncle Cliff.  It was, indeed, a somber moment.  Both my mom, and her sister were in attendence as we mourned the loss of my uncle, their brother.  Flash foward to March 5th, 2022, my father's birthday.  I was working the overnight shift when I got a call in the wee hours of that morning from my sister.  She told me, "mom is gone."  Shock waves ran throughout my body, a I braced myself for the days and months to come.  Needless to say, I'm still not over her passing, but that's how it is when you love someone so much.

Last year in 2023, we lost both her sister, my aunt, two days after my birthday in May, then my father in November 2023.  In addition to the loss of my father, a dear friend who was also my coworker passed.  As I continue coming to terms with loss, there are still these moments of disbelief. The most ironic thing about my father's loss was that it came on the heels of me seing the "Nutcracker," stage play the night before. For me, there was a symbolic meaning behind my attendance to this beautiful Christmas-themed production.  It's almost as if the higher power needed me to be in a joyful place to endure the news of losing my pops.

So, it'll be just myself broadcasting, and I'll keep the lines open for those of you who'd like to chime in and share your own personal experiences.  I haven't hosted a show since 2015, so this first show will be somewhat of an initation for me into the next installment of my life as an artist and content creator.
