Today we have special guest Jo-Anne Sieppert author of 'Distracting the Distractions-Raising a Child with ADD. A Parent's Decision to Medicate'. If you have or know of anyone with ADD this is a must listen. Jo-Anne herself was diagnosed with ADD late in life. At 22 she discovered that all the pain and frustration she had been dealing with throughout her life was due to an unknown battle with ADD. Once diagnosed and set on the right track things finally started to make sense. This story is one VERY honest mother's journey of her life and the life of her second son, Tyler, who also has ADD. After exhausting all avenues Jo- Anne and her husband, Scott, made the tough decision to medicate their son. Join us as we hear how she arrived at this decision, the pain in making it.
