Meredith & Win Blevins!

We are happy to be members of the world’s oldest profession—storytelling. We love the rock and roll of words, the snap of lively sentences, and the juice of powerful scenes. To us writing is a way to play, to listen to the voice of the heart, to let the soul sing.

Our writing goals are still large. Meredith is returning to her popular MYSTIC CAFÉ series, writing a memoir which will appear on this site as it grows, and writing a Big  Book she won’t talk about. Win is writing mysteries and other books set in our time and the place we live, Navajo country, and keeping his other writing dreams to himself.

We’ve been married for one thousand and seven years, and love our children and grandchildren. We’re musicians, Meredith the big talent. She worked as a music therapist and financial columnist. Win as a journalist, screenwriter, and entertainment editor. Both have been professors. And, for two decades, Win was an active mountain climber, venturing even to the Himalayas.  He is also a pipe carrier.

Thirty-two books published by NY houses including mysteries, fantasies, historicals, and non-fiction. Eight screenplays bought by CBS, NBC, and Oscar-winning producers. Four years a movie and drama critic for the big LA newspapers. Numerous magazine articles. Thousands of pages of travel writing on the internet and for guide books and magazines.
