Electronic Arts closed their studio, Visceral Games, last week. The studio had been working on the new Star Wars game. EA says they need to "pivot" the design of the game to "keep players coming back." The move has spawned discussions about the future of single-player games. In other controversial news, some gamers are saying that loot boxes or their equivalent in games are gambling. We say they're not. Plus the Switch now supports GameCube controllers.
