Our New Project

Welcome to Garland Real News.For our first show we are going to be introducing our goals for this project.We want to get everyone involved and helping.Not just the citizens of Garland, NC, but just maybe across the world.We are only a 30 minute show, for now.  My name is Sharon Carter Harper from Garland, NC and we are a homeschooled family.This is a project for my girls, Aaron age 16 and Tyler age 13.They well be doing most of the research, of course I will be monitoring.Please find us on facebook-  Garland Real News. Send us questions, suggestions and comments, everything is welcomed, help is also welcomed.  We do have our blog set up on the radio and also welcome you to call in.  I will say though, right now we are using a radio package that our call in number is long distance for NC, but if using your cell phone it should not cost anything extra, just uses your minutes.  I will post the phone number to facebook.The first projects that Aaron is working on is Teachers in Sampson County.Aaron is interested in Teaching and we hope that she will finish her high school classes this year and start college next fall. She is researching about teachers here in Sampson County, NC and accross the USA.  We will cover some of this information a few minutes everyday.  We would love any teachers across the world to comment on facebook for some questions that she will be posting.  If any teachers would like to come on the radio show and talk live with us, we would most graciously appreciate that. Tyler is the History girl.  She is working on George Washington this week. Please post interesting facts on our blog or facebook.
