It takes faith to do God's will without wavering. And doing so, one inherits what was promised. But, what does that look like in the lives of the faithful?

HW takes us on a journey. Men of old pushed toward the same promises that were finally blossoming in the days of his original readers. How exciting that must be; but, how threatening and demanding, as well. By noting and noodling on the ancients' walk of faith, HW's audience could amp up their expectations. Conduct critical to success could be looked at through the lens of past success.

Heros shine, but they also encourage. "If I can do it, so can you," is their message of hope. Heros also inform: In a situation similar to yours, unwavering trust in God looked like this! We can extract encouragement and templates for our responses from theirs.

This should be a highly practical series of discussions from Heb. 11. Be sure to join in!
