Finally at Ephesus, Paul settles in for his longest known stint in any one place. Once he withdrew from the Synagogue he took up residence in a school run by Tyrannus. This continued for two years and was so effective that the entire province of Asia heard the Word of Jesus. Imagine the honor to have studied there...with Paul...Gamaliel's brightest...Jesus' most effective (1 Cor. 15:10)!

Watch for two massive disturbances connected with Paul's work there: A book-burning that destroyed the equivalent of 150 years of wages! And, a riot that consumed the city in upheaval and shouting for two solid hours!

Paul accomplished much good while in Ephesus—part of which was more letter writing. We'll enjoy our visit to Acts 19.
