Live Your Dream - Kim Wuertz

Kim Wuertz,  author of "Life at Mimosa Lake", stops in to share her story of 'living your dream'. 

Kim was ‘downsized’ from a marketing position in July 2009 while she was in the process of writing a children’s book for her niece.  Kim then decided it was time to do what she loved and fulfill her purpose.  She became a freelance author.  Since that time, Kim has written (and illustrated) books for children, a teen’s book of short stories, and her first novel, "Life at Mimosa Lake" was published this last August.  Kim currently teaches creative writing workshops and gives presentations to schools about her books, life as a writer and living your dream!

“Everyone is faced with so many challenges right now; it’s hard to just survive with the pressures of day to day living.  But we can ‘come home’ and live a life aligned with the desires of our soul -- our dreams'.  There are simple steps we all can to do to make new beginnings and to keep our faith along the way.”  Kim Wuerts believes she has come full circle in her life, back to her teaching and creative writing days.  The response and acceptance from others to her work continues to overwhelm Kim.  She feels guided as she takes more and more sure-footed steps on her long-awaited path!
