Perfecting the 2014 Job Search

The outlook for the 2014 economy and jobs is positive. The national rate of unemployment is at a record low now of only 7%. Whether that is really that the unemployed have given up, that people are taking jobs with less income than before, or whatever may be the case, still it’s good to believe that the New Year will be better than the last few.

So during this slow time of hiring during the holidays, it’s a terrific time to do some self- assessment and plan your direction for the 2014 Job hunt. One good idea is to spend some time asking yourself who it is that you really are, what it is that you want from a job, where you are right now on that path, and where your interests lie.
