In fact, a recent study found that at least one-third of children surveyed eat fast food during the week. Unfortunately, they consume more calories and fat, but less fiber, milk, fruits and vegetables than children who do not eat fast food. Another alarming statistic shows that there has been a 60 percent increase in forearm fractures in part due to milk being replaced by increased consumption of soda and juice.
