Show host and Fire Engineering EMS Editor Mike McEvoy talks with David Becker, Past Chairperson of the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) EMS Section and Professor in the EMS degree program at Columbia Southern University about paramedic education.  Fire Service organizations are opposing a recent move by EMS educators and clinicians to require an associate degree for paramedic licensure/certification.  Chief Becker explains the rationale behind the fire service position.
