On this installment of The Professional Volunteer Fire Department, we will be talking about the importance of "arriving alive" and steps that we should be taking in our volunteer departments to put together and implement good driver training programs and to regularly re-certify drivers as well. Host Tom Merrill talks to guest Michael Wilbur, a nationally recognized professional in the area of emergency vehicle operations. He has been a volunteer firefighter for over 40 years and retired after a 32 year career with the FDNY. Please join us and feel free to call in and add to this important conversation we will be having and we can all learn together steps we can take to better protect ourselves and the public we serve while operating emergency vehicles.
