THAT’S MY JAZZ, is a film documentary short by filmmaker Ben Proudfoot of Breakwater Studios. The film makes its world premiere April 27th at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival. The film is an intimate portrait of internationally acclaimed pastry chef Milt Abel II, the son of Kansas City jazz legend Milt Abel Sr., Milt II became head pastry chef at The French Laundry in the Napa Valley area and Per Se restaurant in NYC and sous pastry chef at Rene Redzepi’s two-Michelin star restaurant Noma.

This is a very beautiful and personable film. It’s filled with great jazz music, visuals of chef Milton preparing pastries, as he recalls fond memories of his dad, his parents and his life of growing up in a musical family. THAT'S MY JAZZ will premiere on Saturday, April 27th at Regal Cinemas Battery Park 11 and will have four screenings during the festival. For more info please visit www.Breakwaterstudios.com
