The group helps people grow spiritually, improve their health and improve their finances. Joan grew up in Philadelphia,Pa and graduated from Penn State University as an RN 26 years ago. She works in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab where they treat heart attacks and has noticed how this could be avoided by making lifestyle changes. She is completing her studies at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition as a health coach so she can guide people to take control of their own health. Joan lost about 45 pounds total, has came off of cholesterol lowering medication and seizure medication. Her thyroid gland was surgically removed years ago, but interestingly she has been able to decrease her medication 3 times in 2 years and the doctors are amazed!
