The Birth of Morselicious Treats

Today on Family Talk Radio our special guest is Maura (Mo) Knowles.

Actress Maura "Mo" Knowles turned her care for her father into a business. In 2010, Frank McFarland “Mac” Knowles had two massive heart attacks and underwent a quadruple bypass.  The operation was successful, but the strict dietary guidelines he was then given to follow were a challenge. 

He was craving baked goods that didn’t taste like cardboard, so Mo went to work and developed a delicious treat that was all natural, low sodium, low fat, low cholesterol, no added sugar, and more fiber.  After mixing many batches, her dad proclaimed them “morselicious!”

Mo knew that if her dad had trouble finding good treats with his dietary restrictions, that others did too.  So, what started as a caring gesture for her father has turned into Mac-N-Mo’s, a small artisan food business making delicious morsels.
