Families With Faith, the Blog Talk Radio show of www.FamiliesWithFaith.org, airs “When the Body MUST take a stand” on Saturday September 11, at 6pm. Together, the ladies will tackle this week’s ‘Real-talk’ discussion, “Confronting the Growing Reality of Human Trafficking” and this week’s Hot Topics, “Cell phones for our children”. Families With Faith is pleased to have Dr. Ron and Lori Clark, of Agape Church of Christ, as their special guest host for this week’s episode. Ron and Lori Clark have been married since 1987. They have 3 sons Nathan, Hunter, and Caleb. Ron has been in ministry for over 20 years and was the preaching minister for the Metro Church of Christ in Gresham for 8 years. On Easter 2007 they lead a new church plant in downtown Portland, the Agape Church of Christ, committed to addressing social justice and empowering the oppressed in the name of Jesus. Lori became the Women’s Minister one year later. Currently, she leads abuse groups within the church. She also works with women, some of whom are in or have left prostitution. Ron has his Doctor of Ministry from Harding Graduate School in Memphis, TN. He is a member of local domestic violence councils and the Attorney General's Sexual Assault Task Force. Dr. Clark leads the clergy training for Community Against Domestic Violence and is also a faculty advisor for D.Min. students at George Fox Evangelical Seminary. He is the author of Setting the Captives Free, Emerging Elders, numerous articles on abuse, theology, and Hebrew/Greek studies, and the newly released trilogy Freeing the Oppressed, and The Better Way: The Church of Agape in Emerging Corinth, and Am I Sleeping With the Enemy? Join Families with Faith and their very special guest hosts, Dr. Ron and Lori Clark, in a lively, informative, intuitive and biblical examination of this week’s questions.
