LEARNING TO PRAISE GOD IN AND THROUGH EVERYTHING!
PSALM 34:1 34 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
1 PETER 2:9 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
2 Chronicles 20 the Lord says,, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.
The Bible Band lesson was right on time, talking about praising God through and in the good, bad and the ugly.
The lesson talked about how that sometimes, becuse of circumstances around a believer, he missed the benefit of praising God and being thankful to God for what is going on in his life.
Prayer, praise and thansgiving are powers that transfor everything and lead a believer into a greater dimension of faith and intimacy with God.
When a believer asks, receive, and thanks, he becomes a disciple moving forward. 22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against them.
25 And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.
