The Earnest of the Spirit and the Resurrection of 2 Corinthians 5:5

The earnest of the Spirit is a key factor in understanding the resurrection the eschatological resurrection. The meaning and nature of the earnest of the Spirit, also called the guarantee is what insured the saints against nakedness, i.e. bodiless state at the parousia.
