Loving Gods Youth!!!!

 Troy Powell was born and raised in Memphis, TN. He grew up in a good home, but not a Godly home. When he was 11 his parents got a divorce and he moved in with his father. It was at that point that he tried his rebellion, everything from stealing, partying, trouble with the law, etc. Troy was invited to Raleigh Assembly of God by a good friend and was introduced to Christ. After a few years of running, and God chasing, Troy stopped running and fully committed his life to Christ. Troy is now the Student/Associate pastor at Raleigh Assembly of God.

Mr. Powell  has earned his Degree in Ministry and Biblical Studies from Tennessee School of Ministry. He has also become extremely involved in his community through speaking and teaching at local churches, schools, & events.

Mr. Powell has served as the Children's pastor, Young Adult pastor, Youth pastor, and now is also serving in an associate role to the lead pastor.

Mr. Powell has been happily married to a lovely woman for the past 7 years. He has one daughter named Vayda Belle.
