Holding the Polarities of Difference:
It’s easy to weigh in, express opinions at the drop of a hat when it comes to what people should do to respect, love and be at peace with one another; especially those who are different than you…even those within your own close-knit group. The conversation seems to become so intellectual with the words pontificating, shifting and changing to mean whatever the listener wants to hear and often times from a narrower perspective. Meanwhile in present reality homophobia, racism, discrimination, immigration, classism, micro-inequities, unearned advantage and so many more to name but a few seem to prevail. What is the work? Is it working? Where will the shift come from and how is it that we cannot see what Einstein said, “No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.
“You must stand on a higher ground”
