This week is a sad one for the world of sports and golf in particular with the passing of "The King" Arnold Palmer. He has left a void that can never be replaced, and at The Back Nine Report, we will celebrate his life offering a Tribute highlighting his life, accomplishments and thoughts from around the world remembering the sports' greatest ambassador.

Also we'll recap the PGA Tour's season ending Tour Championship in which Rory McIlroy put a brilliant end that what was a frustrating summer, by capturing both the Championship and the Cup, to go along with a swift $11.5 million check. 

This is Ryder Cup Week at Hazeltine National in Chaska, MN, and we’ll leave no stone unturned, with have a massive wall-to-wall preview on anything and everything Ryder Cup.

And finally, but not least, our VIG (Very Important Guest) of the Week, will be golf course architect Rees Jones, and we will have some commentary on Arnold Palmer from the European Golf Guru Kieran Clark, and renown book author and golf writer Jim Dodson. Don't miss it!
