I have been away from the Movement of Motivated Beauty for some time now. Unsure if the teens I mentor unmotivated or is it the parents or perhaps I don't have enough to offer them. Well guess what I don't have all the fancy trinkets this world has to offer our youth, but what I do have is my story, my gifts, my authentic self, my dreams, my power to be the change I desire to see. Recently I have been keeping 3 little girls in my care ranging from 4-13, & I realized more & more why teen, tween and youth programs are needed. One youth said she would offer ipod's, wii's, clothing to children for doing better in life, &school. The 5 year old is very disrespect. When latchkey children find themselves with adults that care and demand respect, often they fall into culture shock & either rebel or fall in line with the directions and love being given out. Findiing yourself is key to living well, but you can't lead without following first, so I encourage you all to study to show yourself approved.
