The Box Out with Kahlil and Jason

The Box Out comes to you on a Friday night, a little later than normal but news packed nonetheless. 

Well, it finally happened - Kyrie Irving was traded this week. Irving went to the Boston Celtics for Isiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and Boston’s first round draft pick that belonged to the Nets. With the trade now complete, what does this mean for both the Celtics and the Cavaliers? Does this trade push Boston past Cleveland into the number one contenders for the Eastern Conference?  

With the Kyrie deal done, the question locally becomes what does all of this mean for the New York Knicks? No Kyrie and Carmelo is still on the team. Where do the Knicks go from here? Do the entertain the Houston Rockets’ offer for Melo, including Ryan Anderson?
