Welcome to another episode of Do Tha Knowledge Radio. The place where Knowledge is Born. I am your host Knowledge Born Allah. This is our Black Prosperity Thursday episode. We have the distinct honor and privilege to have welcome to the platform the powerful healing and transformative mind who comes in the righteous name of her majesty heiress Gia Scott. Miss Gia Scott-Heron, also known to her friends and fans as Miss Gia, has been spitting her special brand of "edutainment" for 15 years. She performs regularly in her home city, and has performed in many cities across the US. Miss Gia has been featured in many publications including the Los Angeles Times. She has also been a featured guest on many radio shows across the country including KPFK 90.7 FM in Los Angeles, and WHCR 90.3 FM in Harlem. Gia has also been hostess to numerous open mic venues in her native city of L.A. including "Pi Society", "Barra", "Natural High" and "Flight School Open Mic". She currently hosts a monthly open mic venue called "What's the Word Wednesdays". Miss Gia's most recent album "The Difference" is available for purchase on iTunes and, and available for streaming on all streaming platforms. Her newest single "My Pen" will be released August of 2019, while she continues work on her 3rd album. She is also currently writing a book entitled "Pieces of a Dad: Reflections from the daughter of Gil Scott-Heron" which she hopes to release in October of 2020.
