In Feburary, 2010 Brittany wrote and published a children's book called "i Sit in a Wheelchair...But I Will Be Okay.'  The book was published by Stragetic Book Publishing.  This is about a five year old girl named Penny Brown who goes to Kingergarten in a wheelchair.  She gets angry that she cannot do things that other boys and girls can do such as walk, run, and slide down the big slide.  Penny's parents and her best friend Amy help her realize it is okay to be different.  A new boy comes to class named Josh, and he is also in a wheelchair.  Will Penny find comfort in something she and Josh have in common?

This book is based Brittany life.  She was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at nine months of age.  She is NOT in a wheelchair, but realize there are children who have to be wheelchair bound everyday.  Brittany purpose in writing this book was to show children it is okay to be different.  Brittany and her illustrator  have spoken at schools, and held book signigs at several different places.
