Dr. Karen Wyatt is a family physician who has spent much of her 25 years as a Hospice Medical Director, taking care of dying patients in their homes.  The author of A Matter of Life & Death: Stories to Heal Loss & Grief and The Loss & Grief Survival Guide, Dr. Wyatt has written and lectured extensively on end-of-life issues with emphasis on the spiritual aspect of illness and dying.  Her most recent book is What Really Matters: 7 Lessons for Living From the Stories of the Dying. It is a culmination of many of the spiritual lessons that were demonstrated to her through her patients.
