ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Lainey Cameron is a digital nomad and author of women’s fiction. A recovering tech industry executive, her award-winning novel, The Exit Strategy, was inspired by a decade of being the only woman in the corporate boardroom. It’s been called a “rallying call for women to believe in themselves and join together." Lainey's the founder and host of The Best of Women’s Fiction interview series and podcast, proud member and volunteer with Women’s Fiction Writers Association, believes community makes the author's life worthwhile, and is on a mission to obliterate the term aspiring writer. Originally from Scotland, Lainey has a soft spot for men in kilts and hanging out with anything equine (donkeys rock!). Find her online at laineycameron.com

ABOUT THE BOOK - THE EXIT STRATEGY

Winner of 2020 Readers' Favorite Award for women’s fiction. Tech executive Carly can’t wait to marry the man of her dreams. But her fiancé is already wed to Silicon Valley top investor Ryn Brennan who's on the verge of achieving everything she dreamed. She’s succeeded in the sexist venture capital world, has a supportive husband, and is about to close the deal of her career, until she meets her husband’s mistress across the negotiating table. Carly is an accomplished scientist, caring single mom, and co-founder of a startup. Once she marries her fiancé, she’ll have the life she craves. But she’s blindsided to discover her fiancé is already married. In an industry full of sexism can the two women rise above and work together to ensure their success?
