In Michigan, The Professional People, and how they do work for the Public are regulated under laws, statutes, rules and ordinances, and hopefully with caring and compassionate “common sense”.

In 1999, the State Legislators reformed the Actions of Professional People, when they are in their Professional Role and/or in a Position to help when an Emergency Medical Trauma occurs.

In the EPIC Legislation, also known as the Estates and Protected Individuals Code, a PROCESS was provided to allow the Public to have Professional Aids, Guides and/or Coaching.  This CODE provided for the Delegated Authority of the Court to have jurisdiction over matters relating to the affairs of individual under legal incapacity.

Ms. Roberta had a brain aneurism and her three children went to people they knew. People who had the educational and legal experience to jump into this traumatic time and help assist them. For Educational Purposes, Michigan Probate Radio will take you into a 2017 Washtenaw County Courthouse after Ms. Roberta, who had just suffered a severe Medical Trauma and her three adult children had just lost their father.  An Emergency Medical Trauma can cause a distressing and emotional reaction for the siblings that will drive their life journey to the care and advise of our Medical and Legal Professionals.
