Nancy was born and raised in an Italian neighborhood, to parents who had emigrated from Sicily. She married at 20,and after two children and fifteen years, the marriage ended. “Forever” didn’t happen, but financial instability and the responsibility of raising two children did. Quickly, she was thrown into the job world, without a college education. Nancy spent a number of years bouncing from one low paying, dead-end job to another. She never feared that she would not be able to support herself and her children, and knew that being happy was far more important to her than having money. Nancy began to live in possibilities! In 1997, Nancy began a career of selling commercial playgrounds, and site amenities such as park benches, trash cans, and bicycle racks to developers in the construction industry. After six months, and several maxed out credit cards, she finally got her first sale, and her business grew steadily on the strength of repeat customers and high quality referrals. Nancy has always been interested in personal growth. Compassion and love have been her guiding light, and she feels this is what has allows her to connect with so many people on a personal level. Nancy realized in February 2010 that social networking websites, as a way for men and women to connect, had become mainstream and acceptable. She also realized that a certain niche was being ignored.
