"More Than Conquerors and Spiritual Warfare" -- Part Two

King David did not just "settle" for defeating the Jebusites, He advanced forward to "conqueror." 

He named the fortress of Zion, for which his opponents said he was powerless to defeat, "The City of David (2Samuel 5:7)."  In his earlier days as a shepherd boy and while God was training him for his called kingly position, we see pictures where his foot is placed on the neck of the giant, Goliath.  This foothold is understood to mean, not just conquest, but "more than a conqueror" or, "down for the count" as a referee might judge today.  When Jesus rose from the dead in bodily form, He did not just conquer death, He was "more than a conqueror." The apostle Paul said:  "We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus (Rom. 8:37)."


The show today will look at the different pieces of spiritual armor and what purpose they serve.  We will also look at the Sword of The Spirit which is The Word of God and how to use this equipping correctly. The show today will address "strongholds" and what these are to us today.
