Saturday, May 7, 2011 starting at 11 a.m. (EST) on “Off the Shelf Radio” ( Denise Turney sits down with teacher and award winning author, Julius Thompson.  Thompson is the author of the books Philly Style and Philly Profile, A Brownstone in Brooklyn and Ghosts of Atlanta.  In addition to discussing Thompson’s page turning books, Turney and Thompson will discuss the life of a sportswriter and how college students can get started in the world of journalism. The two will also share tips and advice with Off the Shelf listeners on how they can write, publish and sale their own titles.
