Born with a passion for the unknown and adventure, artist-photographer Linka A. Odom has spent years traveling to third world countries exploring, learning and documenting diverse cultures.
Linka spent 8 years in L.A., during which time she developed a unique way to showcase her work: interactive, photo-based light box installations, allowing viewers to experience her images in outdoor settings. Then she took a leap of faith and left the U.S. to fully focus on her photography and pursue an advanced degree. She is currently juggling travel and documentary projects while completing a Master’s in Documentary Photography through the University of the Arts in London.
She is inspired by ancient civilizations and by people that live on the edge. "I have a great need and desire to see justice in the world", said Linka, "My work is influenced by this and my passion to make a difference. "
