Robin Hitt is the author of the upcoming book Open-Eyed Adoption, Real Help for Those Parenting Adoptees, to be released in March of 2023. As an adoptive mom, her research including interviews with adoptive parents, adult adoptees, doctors, and therapists became this new book to encourage, educate, and equip adoptive parents as well as adult adoptees. Robin is a life and business coach and a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator in the work of Dr. Brené Brown and leads workshops on topics like imperfection, shame, and vulnerability. She lives in Colorado with her husband and mini labradoodle.

I have worked in hospital settings including ICU, in home care, and a doctor’s office. My experience is in the burn unit, medical/surgical, orthopedics, recovery room, rehab, psych, and cardiac care. I love variety and learning. In addition, I’ve cared for hospice patients in the home and those who had life threatening issues.
