The theory of exile:   Before our ancestors were placed here, they lived freely throughout the universe. We are the direct descendants and distant relatives of the extraterrestrials that still do. We once shared all the rights, responsibilities and technologies of those societies. But, at some point in the last 100,000 years, a catastrophic change took place, and something, perhaps a mutagen (a physical or chemical agent that changes genetic material) caused a flaw in our Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). The result was that some Cro-Magnoids (homos sapien sapiens – our ancestors) begin to exhibit insanity and criminal behavior.

As existing interstellar penal and mental health institutions became overwhelmed, finding an efficient and “humane solution” to the growing problem became an absolute necessity. It is my belief that in the end, the decision was made that testing would done to identify and isolate those who possessed the errant genetic code. Our ancestors were selected for exile because that code was in their DNA. Entire generations of deviant Cro-Magnons with different physical characteristics, from a multitude of planets, were identified and slated for processing. [Andromeda Galaxy Man is on a prison planet]

Note regarding why we weren’t simply genetically ‘repaired’ and reintegrated into society: Forced genetic modification of intelligent life forms is likely considered a horrible intergalactic civil rights violation, and therefore is strictly forbidden.

Once our ancestors were identified and isolated until a vote was taken as to the next course of action. Exile was chosen.
