It's not too late for the Eerie House Olde Tyme Radio virtual Drive-In this year. Some years after Lon Chaney immortalized the tragic Eric of the Opera from Gaston Leroux' epic tale, the role was reprised in 1943 by Claude Rains on screen. Tonight we present the Lux Radio Theater version with Basil Rathbone as the title character, and, like the film, also stars Nelson Eddy. Dale, Dave and Gar will keep the concession stand busy. As an homage to the original Phantom film, Dale Kay will read a heart warming story written by Forest Ackerman about Lon Chaney Sr. Listen, Chat, Call and don't drive off with our speakers in your window.
